CrossFire Youth
(Scroll down for the 2009 new pictures!) ROSINTON YOUTH REACH OUT TO HELP! Rosinton youth were recently "in the news" for their offer to help paint a house in our community for a senior citizen whose home needed painting. Thieves broke into an elderly lady's home in Rosinton and stole the money she had been saving to paint her home. Our youth and leaders offered to help paint her home. Rain delayed the event last Saturday but it has been rescheduled for this Saturday, September 19th. All youth who can help need to be at the church at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast then head out to her home around 7 a.m.
CrossFIRE is the YOUTH MINISTRY of Rosinton Methodist in Robertsdale, Alabama. Our Mission Our goal for Youth is to see all students intentionally choose to pursue God through establishing a relationship with Jesus. To this end, within our Youth Ministry we strive to create opportunities for youth to share their questions, their dreams, their ideas. We see opportunities for youth to share their life with others as they experience the wonders of a personal relationship with Christ. We facilitate opportunities for youth by encouraging individual growth through worship, Bible study, community service and participation in international and domestic missions.
Fall/Winter activities: BOUNCE Praise and Worship Service-Wednesday November 4th 7:00 FAITH IN ACTION DAY-Saturday November 7th 7:30 CHRISTMAS PRAYER STATIONS MEETING- Sunday November 8th 5-6 pm YOUTH COUNCIL MEETING- Sunday November 15th 5-6 pm MENTOR DINNER- Wednesday November 18th 5-6 pm BOUNCE Praise and Worship Service-Wednesday December 2nd at 7:00 CASTING CROWNS MUSIC CONCERT-Thursday December 3rd MENTOR CHRISTMAS PARTY- Wednesday December 16th 5:00 YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY- Saturday December 19th 5:30-8:30 RUMC CHURCH CHRISTMAS PROGRAM- Sunday December 20th 6:00-7:30 WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: SUNDAY All youth, 6th-12th grade, are asked to gather in the Family Life Center at 9:30 a.m. for Bible Study. Followed by Worship at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary. WEDNESDAY We also meet on Wednesday Nights at 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a time of Youth Devotion and Peer Discussion on real topics with real solutions about real problems and how God fits into our world. The gym opens at 6:00 p.m.
