 Rev. Mike White, Pastor 

 

Pastor Mike was born in southeast Alabama, then raised and educated in northwest Florida, before serving a tour on active duty in the Army as a chaplain assistant.  He married Barbara Ellen Brown after completing his initial Army training.  They have two grown children, Amy and Josh.  Amy is married with two young children of her own, Makenzie and Connor, while Josh still lives at home. 

Mike earned his B. S. degree in history and English at Troy University in Troy, AL, in 1986, then he went on to complete his Master of Divinity degree at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, in 1988.  He was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church in May 1991.  He has served pastorates in the Alabama-West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church from 1984 till the present, as well as serving as a chaplain in the Alabama Army National Guard and in the active Army for a while.  In addition to pastoring Rosinton UMC, he also continues to serve as a chaplain in the Alabama Army National Guard. 

For hobbies, Mike enjoys using computers, writing, gardening, and fishing.  One of his favorite past-times is using his computer and the Internet to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ all around the world through his personal web site at www.parsonplace.com  His favorite Scripture is Romans 8:31.  You may contact him by email at any time at mike.white@rosintonumc.com


 

Bill Stott, Youth Pastor
 
Youth Pastor Bill was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but was raised in South Florida.  For the last 16 years, he lived in Texas with his wife, Virginia, and their two children, Nicholas (16) and Samantha (11).  
 
Bill earned his B. S. degree in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, in 1985. After graduating, he embarked on a teaching career that spanned over 20 years and included teaching Business Computers, Coaching Varsity Football, and Running Schools.
 
Bill and Virginia threw in their nets for Jesus in the summer of 2007, when they decided to leave Texas and move to Gulf Breeze, Florida. The goal was to honor God with their lives and work for His Kingdom.

Bill Wade, Outreach and Music Ministries
 
Brother Bill was born in Laurel, Mississippi and has served in music and youth ministries for over 40 years. He resides in Robertsdale with his wife Janet. Together they have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
 
Bill earned his B. S. degree in Church Music and Bible at the William Carey College in 1975. After graduating, he embarked on a  career in Automobile and Tractor mechanics.
 
Bill has served the Rosinton UMC for the past 9 years as Music Minister working with the chancel as well as children's choirs. Presently he leads the RUMC Methodists Men's club and Outreach ministries and serves as Baypines District Methodist Men's Club President.
